Optum Launches Care Coordination Software For I/DD & Complex Care Needs
In May 2019, Optum launched a new care coordination platform for intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and other populations of Medicaid beneficiaries with complex care needs. The platform, called Optum Supports and Services Manager (OSSM), helps state or Medicaid managed care service coordinators carry out this process with workflows, tools, prompts, and a portal designed on national best practices for implementing person-centered planning.
