On November 25, 2019, UnitedHealth Group announced the opening of Medicare centers inside Walgreens. UnitedHealth Group and Walgreens will open 14 UnitedHealthcare Medicare services centers within Walgreens stores in Cleveland, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; Las Vegas, Nevada; Memphis, Tennessee; and Phoenix, Arizona. The centers will open January 2020.

Through these centers, Walgreens customers can learn more about Medicare, meet with advocates to discuss their UnitedHealthcare plan benefits, and enroll in plans. UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members can use the UnitedHealthcare HouseCalls scheduling program to make appointments at the in-store Medicare services center to complete their annual wellness visit.
