California’s Shasta County Releases An RFP For EPSDT Services
On November 21, 2019, Shasta County, California released a request for proposals (RFP) for Medicaid Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis, and Treatment (EPSDT) services. The RFP (RFP 20-19) was released by the Children’s Services Branch of the county's Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). Proposals are due by December 30, 2019. The estimated contract value is $3.5 million annually. The contract would begin July 1, 2020, and run through June 30, 2021, followed by two one-year extension options.
