California Medicaid Releases RFP For ACE Training
On December 20, 2019, the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) released a request for proposals (RFP) for organizations to provide training to professionals and provider organizations on how to screen for adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and provide trauma-informed care. The training will incorporate the latest evidence on trauma-informed care and trauma-sensitive responses and will be made available statewide. Proposals are due by February 10, 2020, and contract awards are anticipated in April 2020. The contracts are estimated to begin in May 2020, and will run through May 2021.
