Massachusetts To Launch Initiative Addressing Social Determinants Of Health In 2020

The Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) is preparing to launch the Moving Massachusetts Upstream (MassUP) Investment Program to fund programs that address the social determinants of health (SDOH) and root causes of health inequity. A total of $2 million is available for MassUP projects, and the state intends to fund three to four awards of up to $650,000 each to be paid out on a cost-reimbursement basis.
