The Maryland Health Care Commission is seeking grant applicants to support diffusion of telehealth in nursing homes across the State. The grant will provide up to $750,000 to accelerate telehealth through existing networks, using commercially available telehealth technology. Applicants must have a robust strategy to meet a range of clinical needs, support transitions, and curb unnecessary emergency department use and re-hospitalizations. A letter of intent had to be submitted by December 20, 2019. Proposals are due by January 31, 2020, and the grant award is anticipated in March 2020.
