King County, Washington is planning to launch a new system navigation service in April 2020 for people with disabilities and their caregivers. The new system will include three types of services: Peer support, training/education, and innovations to promote a culture shift toward inclusion and understanding.

To provide the services, the county released a single request for proposal (RFP) on December 16, 2019, with proposals due by February 28, 2020. The contracts are anticipated to begin April 1, 2020, and run through December 31, 2023. The county intends to award up to five contracts totaling up to $1,035,300 . . .
