Extended-follow up remote patient management (RPM) intervention appear to reduce the share of work days lost due to unplanned hospitalizations for heart failure, during the year following the initial, six-month RPM intervention. “Days lost” is defined as the number of work days, following an injury or illness, during which the employee was unable to perform routine functions.
