FTC Investigation Nixes Aveanna Healthcare’s $1.2 Billion Acquisition Of Maxim Healthcare Services
On January 30, 2020, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced that it would not approve a merger proposed between Aveanna Healthcare and Maxim Healthcare Services (Maxim). The transaction had been slated to close in the second quarter of 2019. Financial terms were not disclosed, but have been estimated at $1.2 billion.
