Arizona Telemedicine Bill SB1414

The 2012 Arizona legislature is considering House Bill (HB) 2666 and Senate Bill (SB) 1414; both focus on health insurance reimbursement issues involving telehealth. HB 2666 requires health plans and group disability plans to reimburse for telehealth services at the same rate as in-person consultation. SB 1414 requires accountable health plans to reimburse for telehealth services at the same rate as in-person consultation.
