The Massachusetts legislature is considering a bill to expand access to telehealth services. The bill relaxes current requirements for telehealth consultations, expands the ways telehealth can be provided, and increases the variety of clinical services that can be provided via telehealth technologies. The bill, Massachusetts House Bill (HB) 4134: An Act to Improve Health Care By Investing In Value, was introduced by Governor Charlie Baker on October 18, 2019. The bill has not moved forward since a joint legislative hearing was scheduled for January 28, 2020.
