Anne Arundel Medical Center To Open Mental Health Hospital

Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC) held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of its new mental health hospital, which will officially open its doors to consumers late March 2020. Ceremony attendees included AAMC leadership, community members, consumers, donors, and public officials. The J. Kent McNew Family Medical Center is located in Annapolis, Marlyand, next to AAMC’s addiction and co-occurring disorder treatment facility. The 16-bed facility will care for up to 900 individuals a year who would otherwise be transferred out of the area.
