California Launches Task Force To Coordinate System Changes To Behavioral Health System
On March 4, 2020, the new California Behavioral Health Task Force held its first meeting to create the state’s 2025 Behavioral Health Plan to coordinate system changes to prevent and respond to the effects of mental illness and addiction. The first half of the meeting focused on providing members and the public with context regarding the administration’s current budget proposals and also providing a historical background of California’s behavioral health service delivery and financing.
