8% Of Those Who Had Mild COVID-19 Developed No Detectable Antibodies
In a study of 175 people in China who recovered from COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus) after experiencing mild symptoms, 8% developed no detectable antibodies in their plasma. Currently, researchers believe that neutralizing antibodies (NAbs) developed while fighting the virus indicate recovery and future protection from the disease.
SARS-CoV-2-specific NAbs were detected from day 10 to day 15 after the onset of the disease and remained thereafter.
