Recovery Access Coalition Launches With Focus On Addiction Digital Therapeutics
A group of addiction and mental health advocacy organizations recently launched an initiative called the Recovery Access Coalition with the goal of improving consumer access to digital prescription therapeutics to treat addiction disorder. The Coalition is focused on increasing U.S. policymakers’ and payers’ awareness of the value, safety, and effectiveness of digital therapeutics and how technology can expand access to remote addiction treatment during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and can address a shortage of rural addiction treatment options.
