California-based hospice and home health provider Visiting Nurse Association of the Inland Counties (VNA) has been acquired in tandem by two different companies. VNA is a nonprofit hospice and home health provider located in Riverside and Palm Desert, California.

Bristol Hospice purchased the VNA’s hospice operations for an undisclosed amount. Meanwhile HealthSure Management Services (HMS) has bought out the organization’s home health business. VNA pursued the sale because the organization was in bankruptcy. Financial terms of the transactions are not available. American Healthcare Capital advised VNA through these transactions.
