North Carolina Judge Dismisses Protest To Medicaid Managed Care Contracts, State Now Moving Forward Toward Managed Care Enrollment In March 2021
On August 27, 2020, a North Carolina administrative law judge dismissed a protest to the state’s Medicaid managed care contract award to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is now preparing to launch enrollment in the new managed care plans starting March 15, 2021 with the Standard Plans for the general population.
