CMS Seeks Comments On Medicaid HCBS Draft Recommended Measure Set

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a request for information seeking comments by October 19, 2020, on a draft Home- and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Recommended Measure Set. Use of the measure set would be voluntary. CMS is interested in the potential benefits and challenges that states, managed care organizations, and other organizations that administer or deliver HCBS. Further, CMS seeks stakeholder comment on the purpose and organization of the recommended measure set, the criteria used to select measures, and a preliminary draft set of measures for assessing the quality and outcomes of Medicaid-funded HCBS.
