Atrium Health & Wake Forest Baptist Health Merge

Atrium Health and Wake Forest Baptist Health, including Wake Forest School of Medicine, merged, and will operate under the name Atrium Health. Eugene A. Woods will serve as president and chief executive officer of the new Atrium Health. The merged system has 42 hospitals and more than 1,500 care locations.
