On October 8, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced new repayment terms for $106 billion in payments issued under the Accelerated and Advance Payment (AAP) Program to more than 22,000 Part A provider organizations, and more than 28,000 Part B suppliers and clinical professionals. When the AAP Program was offered in March 2020, the terms called for repayments to begin in August 2020.
