Catholic Charities Dallas & Catholic Housing Initiative To Open New 180-Unit Homeless Housing Project

Catholic Charities Dallas (CCD) and the Dallas-based Catholic Housing Initiative (CHI) announced plans for a $14.7 million, 180-unit project to address housing insecurity and homelessness in Dallas. The project is a public-private partnership involving multiple non-profit organizations and government entities, including Dallas County. In 2019, CCD and CHI opened their first collaboration, St. Jude Center-Forest, a permanent supportive housing community for chronically homeless seniors.
