29 Acres Independent Living Community For Adults With Autism Welcomes First Residents
In October 2020, 29 Acres, a new independent living community in Denton County, Texas, for adults with autism welcomed the first 32 residents. 29 Acres provides a two-year residential program for young adults with autism. The individualized programs include independent living skills, job readiness, therapeutic recreation, self-advocacy, interpersonal friendships, community navigation, behavioral and emotional well-being, and quality medical care.
