CMS Approves 10-Year Extension For Indiana’s HIP Alternative Medicaid Expansion Program
On October 26, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) approved a 10-year extension for the Indiana Medicaid Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP) 2.0 Waiver. The final HIP 2.0 and substance use disorder/serious mental illness (SUD/SMI) Waiver Extension was submitted to CMS by the state of Indiana on January 31, 2020.
