On December 11, 2020, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released this interim recommendation for allocating initial supplies of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccine. The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) advises CDC on population groups and circumstances for vaccine use, and in this report considered priority populations for vaccinations to prevent COVID-19.
