Indiana House Bill 1001, Budget Proposals
April 29, 2011 The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) will use psychiatric medication guidelines developed by the state Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) as the basis for determining Medicaid beneficiariesÂ’ access to psychiatric medications in outpatient settings. The change which affects the Medicaid preferred drug list was included in the stateÂ’s budget legislation, House Bill 1001, which was enrolled on April 29, 2011.
