Centene & Samsung Team Up To Enable Virtual Care Options For Underserved Communities

Centene Corporation partnered with Samsung Electronics America on an initiative to support telehealth in rural and underserved areas across Centene’s markets. Through the partnership, Centene is supplying 13,000 Samsung Galaxy A10e smartphones plus 90 days of free wireless service to about 200 federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), other provider organizations, and community support organizations. The provider organizations will identify consumers without the equipment for virtual visits, and distribute the devices as needed. The initiative will also supply some provider organizations with tablets to use to conduct telehealth visits.
