The Kansas legislature is considering legislation (Senate Bill 138 and House Bill 2160) to add Certified Community Behavioral Health Centers (CCBHCs) as a new provider organization type to the state Medicaid plan. The legislation is supported by the Special Committee on Kansas Mental Health Modernization and Reform and by the Association of Community Mental Health Centers of Kansas, Inc.
