DeepScribe, AI Medical Record-Taking Platform, Raises $5.2 Million Seed Funding
DeepScribe, an artificial intelligence (AI) platform for medical record-taking raised $5.2 million in a seed round led by Bee Partners. The funding will be used for product research and development, as well as hiring efforts.
The platform combines AI with rules-based natural language processing, as well as the output of three speech recognition engines. It uses IBM’s speech recognition technology to recognize medications and conditions and Google’s technology for conversational speech.
