New Jersey DCF To Implement Universal Newborn Nurse Home Visitation
The New Jersey Department of Children and Families (DCF) is planning to implement universal statewide newborn nurse home visitation. The program was established, and funding was appropriated by Senate Bill 690, which was signed into law on July 29, 2021. The legislature appropriated $2.75 million, which is intended to cover start-up costs for the first year.
