Winnebago County, Illinois Expanding Community Crisis Co-Responder Project Through Collaboration with Rosecrance

The Winnebago County Illinois Sheriff’s Office is expanding its community crisis co-responder team (CCRT) through a collaboration with Rosecrance, Inc., a non-profit behavioral health services provider organization. The expansion is made possible with a grant of $2 million from the Winnebago County Community Mental Health Board.

The CCRT program includes mental health professional on calls responding to behavioral health crisis due to mental health or addiction disorder.
