On July 29, 2021, Gateway Health, a Pennsylvania Medicaid managed care plan, and WellSpan Health, a health system in central Pennsylvania, launched a value-based partnership focused on connecting Gateway Health members with primary care professionals in the region. The organizations have not announced the official start date. It will cover 24,000 Gateway Health members.
