Banner/Aetna Joint Venture To Offer Individual Health Insurance Marketplace Plans In Arizona

Banner|Aetna, a joint venture owned by Banner Health and Aetna/CVS Health, announced plans to enter the individual health insurance marketplace in Arizona for the plan year that starts January 1, 2022. Previously Banner|Aetna offered health benefit plans for employers. The Banner|Aetna individual plans will be offered to residents of Maricopa, Pinal, and Pima counties through Arizona’s individual marketplace when open enrollment launches November 1, 2021.

Plans on the individual health insurance marketplace will be offered at each metal level: Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Each level will provide members with the following benefits:
