New York OMH Releases Sixth Procurement For Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative Services

On August 3, 2021, the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) released its sixth procurement for contractors to create supportive housing services for the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative (ESSHI). Proposals are due by October 6, 2021, and awards announcements are anticipated by December 9, 2021. Announced in 2016, ESSHI is one component of former Governor Cuomo’s $20 billion, five-year plan to create or preserve more than 100,000 affordable housing units and at least 6,000 supportive housing units.
