Massachusetts Medicaid Expands Long-Term Coverage To Legal Immigrants Not Eligible For Medicaid
On November 1,2021, the Massachusetts Medicaid program, MassHealth, expanded its MassHealth Family Assistance coverage of long-term care for legal immigrants who are not eligible for traditional Medicaid. Until July 10, 2020, the MassHealth Family Assistance program did not cover any long-term care services.
