Massachusetts One Care Dual Eligible Initiative Continues In January 2022 With Three Health Plans

On October 19, 2021, the Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS) signed contracts to continue its Medicaid One Care Financial Alignment Initiative (FAI) Duals Demonstration for people eligible for both Medicare and the state Medicaid program, MassHealth. It signed three-way financial alignment agreements with the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and with three managed care organization (MCO) plans: Commonwealth Care Alliance (CCA) One Care, Tufts Health Unify, and UnitedHealthcare Connected.
