Virtual Mental Health & Coaching Company BetterUp™ Raises $300 Million In A Series E Funding Round

BetterUp™, which provides virtual mental health and coaching services, closed a $300 million Series E funding round. The company plans to use the new funding to accelerate international growth. BetterUp combines virtual coaching with artificial intelligence (AI) technology and behavioral science to deliver personalized behavior change and improve the well-being, adaptability, and effectiveness of the workforce.

Wellington Management, ICONIQ Growth, and Lightspeed Venture Partners led the round with participation from existing investors Salesforce Ventures and Mubadala Investment Company. Sapphire Ventures, Morningside Group, SV Angel, and PLUS Capital also participated in the round.
