Oregon Releases Final Policy Concepts For Medicaid Waiver, Includes A Value-Based Budget
On October 19, 2021, the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) released its final policy concepts for a new five-year Medicaid Waiver, also known as the 1115 Demonstration, which included OHA's plans to implement a value-based budget as a reform of the state's Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Medicaid program. OHP delivers health care to those with low income. Oregon will apply for a new waiver for the years 2022 through 2027.
