The boards of directors of Comprehensive Mental Health Services (CMHS) and Burrell Behavioral Health, both based in Missouri, recently signed documents to finalize a merger. Financial terms were not disclosed. CMHS will retain its name. CMHS president and Chief Executive Officer, Julie Pratt, will remain at CMHS as president.

On October 4, 2021, the two organizations announced that they had signed a letter of intent to explore a merger. Both organizations are state-designated Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs).
