Lessons From The Field: The EHN Mass Casualty Behavioral Health Response Framework
On August 3, 2019, a mass shooting occurred at a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, resulting in the death of 23 people and numerous injuries. Emergence Health Network, El Paso’s Local Mental Health Authority (LMHA), stepped in to assist a community in pain.
