More Than $24 Billion For Behavioral Health Treatment Included In The $1.5 Trillion Government Funding Bill

More than $24 billion to fund mental health and addiction treatment is included in the $1.5 trillion government funding bill, House Resolution 2471, signed on March 15, 2022. The bill includes 12 appropriations for the various federal departments and agencies to support mental health and addiction treatment.

Some of the appropriation breakdowns for different offices and organizations to support mental health and addiction purposes include:
