42% Of Adults With ADHD Report Excellent Mental Health

About 42% of Canadian adults diagnosed with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) report having excellent mental health compared to 73.8% of adults without ADHD. For this comparison, “excellent” mental health was defined as three factors: absence of mental illness, addiction disorder, or suicidality; presence of happiness/life satisfaction; and social/psychological well-being.
