20% Of Adult COVID Survivors May Develop Long-COVID
More than one in five U.S. adults who survived coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) may develop a condition known as “post-COVID conditions” or “long COVID”. Approximately 38% of COVID-19 survivors “experienced at least one incident condition” in the months after their infection, compared to about 16% of people who were not infected with COVID-19 who had been diagnosed with those conditions.
