76% Of Arizona Caregivers Support Medicaid I/DD Managed Long-Term Care

About 76% of caregivers for Arizona residents with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) support the concept of a Medicaid managed care plan that would provide and coordinate long-term services and supports (MLTSS), according to a recent poll commissioned by Arizona for Better Medicaid. Before participating in the poll, about 63% of the caregivers viewed Medicaid MLTSS favorably. After learning more about the managed LTSS model, 76% of caregivers viewed such plans favorably.

Medicaid MLTSS plans have several models. Most coordinate care and cover home- and community-based services (HCBS) for adults with disabilities, some manage HCBS plus institutional settings . . .
