Building Compassionate, Engaged Teams For A Culture That Matters: The New Hope Treatment Centers Case Study

November 06, 2025

1:00 – 2:00 pm ET

In behavioral health, a great organizational culture is the foundation for delivering exceptional care. Staff engagement, recognition, and shared values directly influence outcomes. Yet many executives struggle to move beyond rhetoric to measurable, proven strategies that build and sustain cultures that can improve retention and elevate consumer outcomes.

In this one-hour live event, Matt Simon, Chief Operating Officer for New Hope Treatment Centers, will share how his organization has put culture at the center of its strategy—with measurable success—by embarking on a strategic journey to actively cultivate a culture of compassion and engagement.

Mr. Simon will present three elements of that journey: the implementation of a dedicated employee app, the “HUB,” which serves as a critical communication and resource platform; a partnership with AwardCo, a robust recognition and rewards program designed to celebrate the dedication of staff; and a company-wide shift towards a new core mantra and values, which places compassion at the forefront of every interaction.

Executive attendees will learn:

  • How to measure culture in quantifiable ways—and use those insights to improve both staff engagement and consumer care
  • Practical steps to intentionally build a culture that staff want to be part of—with real-world examples that work.
  • Innovative methods for engaging frontline staff—and why investing in the front line creates the biggest return for organizations
