10 Jurisdictions Awarded ACF Funding To Adopt Child Welfare Predictive Risk Modeling Tools

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF), an agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, is awarding $6 million in grants to 10 child welfare jurisdictions. Each jurisdiction will receive approximately $600,000 to pilot predictive-risk modeling technology intended to support child safety and caseworker decision-making. The recipients are Indiana, Missouri, Nebraska, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Texas, the Muscogee Creek Nation, and the District of Columbia.
