1,400 Health Care & Social Service Organizations Join California’s Data Exchange Framework

More than 1,400 health care organizations, representing nearly 1,000 entities, have joined the California Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) data exchange framework (DxF), a statewide data sharing agreement intended to improve connections between health care organizations and social service provider organizations. These entities signed a Data Sharing Agreement (DSA) by the January 31, 2023, deadline established by Assembly Bill (AB) 133. The organizations that have signed the DSA by the deadline include at least 114 hospitals, 519 medical groups and physician practices, 257 outpatient facilities and urgent care clinics, 75 health care service plans and disability insurers . . .
