Electronic health record (EHR) vendor company Allscripts has acquired ZappRx, a digital specialty prescription and prior authorization platform. The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Allscripts’ Veradigm unit services a range of health care stakeholders by integrating software analytics, reporting, and workflow tools. The new acquisition will allow Allscripts to expand the capabilities of their product.
