Allscripts Sells OneContent Business To Hyland
Allscripts recently announced it is selling its OneContent document capture and health record management software to Hyland Software (Hyland). It is anticipated that the purchase will complete during the second quarter of this year, until which the two companies will continue to operate independently.
According to statements from Allscripts, the company anticipates that Hyland will help to refine the software’s integration with Allscripts’ electronic health records (EHRs). Allscripts had initially obtained the OneContent through its acquisition of McKesson’s health IT business last summer.
