Amazon-Berkshire-JPMorgan Chooses CTO, Hiring For Several Roles, Including Clinical
The health care venture launched by Amazon, Berkshire Hathaway (Berkshire), and JPMorgan Chase (the venture)—recently announced Serkan Kutan as its chief technology officer (CTO). Mr. Kutan formerly served as the CTO for Zocdoc, an online medical care appointment booking service.
Mr. Kutan will join the venture in its mission to cut health care costs for their U.S. employees, improve employee satisfaction, and improve technology solutions. Court filings from a lawsuit being filed against the venture by UnitedHealth suggest that the venture is exploring ways to combine third party vendors’ products to boost value for the three organizations.
