Brightview Senior Living Development (Brightview) and Notre Dame of Maryland University (NDMU) entered into an agreement to begin a feasibility phase.  Brightview has agreed to a long-term ground lease of 3.75-acres of property from NDMU to construct and maintain an independent and assisted living complex for older adults.

The parcel is the University’s 201 Homeland Avenue property; it is adjacent to the university campus and St. Mary’s Cemetery. Presently the university uses this property for overflow parking. NDMU offers certificate, undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs for women and men, in addition to operating Maryland . . .
